An interpersonal relationship refers to the association, connection, interaction and bond between two or more people. There are many different types of relationships. This section focuses on four types of relationships: Family relationships, Friendships, Acquaintanceships and Romantic relationships.
Important skills for a happy relationship Are 1) Empathy. Sometimes, arguments reach a stalemate because neither partner is willing to listen to what the other is saying. 2) Communication. It's an obvious one, but bears repeating: communication is one of the most important skills in any relationship. 3) Conflict. 4) Commitment. 5) Love.
The five stages of a relationship are the Merge, Doubt and Denial, Disillusionment, the Decision, and Wholehearted Love
All great relationships are built on communication and by talking to your friends instead of your partner, you take that communication away. Even if something has been resolved, you should still be talking to your partner about it, so they can be clued in about what's going on in the relationship
Trust issues may include factors such as jealousy, possessiveness, unreasonable rigidity, emotional infidelity, physical/sexual infidelity, relational game playing, lack of reliability and dependability, lack of emotional support, lack of financial compatibility, and lack of mutually-supportive goals.
